HAVE YOUR SAY ON THE CHILL-OUT TRACKS BEING PERFORMED AT CLASSIC IBIZA
And join us in welcoming DJ Meera to the Classic Ibiza line-up
We’re getting ready to return to a stunning stately home venue near you this summer, promising our biggest-ever celebration of White Isle-inspired dance music. In addition to all your favourite house anthems, this year’s extended five-and-a-half-hour show will feature a new live “Chill-Out Set”, and you can have your say on the sun-drenched tracks you most want to hear.
Gates open at the earlier time of 5pm, followed shortly by a performance by Classic Ibiza debutant, DJ Meera. Meera has graced the decks at some of the world’s most renowned nightclubs, including The Cross, Ministry of Sound and UNVRS Ibiza.
Commenting on her “Arrival Lounge Set”, Meera says: “I can’t wait to recreate the magic of the Ibiza sunset with you all. Expect soulful, deep, uplifting grooves and pure Balearic bliss. Join me as we build the perfect vibe and set the stage for the rest of the unforgettable evening ahead!”
She’ll then be joined on stage by members of Urban Soul Orchestra for the new “Chill-Out Set”, which will feature the most popular tracks voted for by our 62,000 social media followers. You can join them here by selecting your favourites from the following shortlist:
- Belfast (Orbital)
- Les Nuits (Nightmares On Wax)
- Little Fluffy Clouds (The Orb)
- Moment Scale (Silent Poets)
- Uschi’s Groove (The Ballistic Brothers).
Voting closes on Monday 6 April, with the three most popular tracks joining the 45-minute set.
Classic Ibiza’s Lisa Ward says: “Chill-out is such an essential part of the Balearic vibe, with those ambient tunes providing the perfect soundtrack to laidback summer evenings and anticipation of what’s to come. This year’s extended programme has allowed us to bring back some incredible tracks that we haven’t performed since 2018. We can’t wait to reacquaint them with you.”
DJ Meera will then play her “Party Starter Set”, before handing over to Urban Soul Orchestra, conducted by Stephen Hussey, and DJ Goldierocks. They’ll be taking the you on a sonic, three-hour journey of the very-best of Balearic-infused house, which will include a number of exciting new interpretations of classic dance tracks and even more guest vocals by members of London Community Gospel Choir.
